If you are looking for the Hidden Bistro, it is a Hidden Gem! Directions on Maps will take you to European Fitness, it is in the gym, and it is located upstairs. We were looking for a place to grab lunch, and cannot believe this place is tucked away. It needs big arrows and signs because the food is amazing! The owner is the chef and his mother was our waitress, and she was as sweet as they come! You can see from the pictures that the food is prepared with love and everything is made in house. I have a lot of food allergies and they worked to accommodate! A great experience, and if we are ever back in Reno, this is a must stop!
I would give this place 6 stars if I could, the owner Oliver was amazing and his attention to detail is unmatched. He makes everything from scratch! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was an explosion of flavor. From the fresh pickled cucumber to the hot sauce dredged chicken breast, it was a masterpiece in my mouth. 10/10 would go again!
This place is incredible, or I should say the man who owns it is. He makes delicious food in a timely manner while being alone in his kitchen, taking orders, cooking and serving. Not to mention he is incredibly kind, the drawings (obviously drawn by a toddler) can attest to that.
Oscar who owns this place is the man. He prepares almost everything from scratch including the polenta fries which I highly recommend. His mom who works the front is also a sweetheart. His Smash-burger is one of the tastiest in all of town and a better price than anywhere in midtown
Steak frites here are to die for, I get them at least once a week, they’re delicious and all the other food is raves about by my peers as well. Its clearly not cheap quality stuff but The prices are incredibly reasonable for what you are getting, the service is fast and friendly, the environment is very nice and just kind of unique (definitely worth trekking through Euro Fitness’ lobby to get to) and the owner is a super positively energetic young black/African-American business owner (and I only mention race at all because I know many people out there try to specifically support black owned businesses) Check it out, especially if you’re a gym member. It will become a go-to casual upscale dining spot for you
